Janaki Torrence, MS, CCC-SLP, is a research coordinator in the Aphasia Research Lab. Janaki graduated with a master's degree from the UW Speech & Hearing Sciences, and completed a thesis with Dr. Carolyn Baylor on participation-focused intervention in speech pathology. Subsequently, she completed a clinical fellowship at the Puget Sound VA, where she worked in acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, and the spinal cord injury unit. In her spare time, Janaki enjoys sewing projects, reading, and going on long hikes with her husband and giant dog, Clover.
