New Student Orientation

There is a mandatory department orientation for all new graduate students on Monday and Tuesday, September 25 & 26, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It’s held in our building (Eagleson Hall) located at 1417 NE 42nd Street, Seattle, WA 98105. All new graduate students in Speech and Hearing Sciences (SPHSC) are required to attend this event. Please mark your calendar now and get in touch with your advisor ASAP if you have any conflict with these dates.

During orientation, SPHSC faculty and staff will provide valuable information about the UW and your graduate program. For your convenience, a folder containing the orientation schedule and supporting materials will be placed in your department mailbox in Eagleson Hall on Friday, September 22, 2017. Please plan to pick up this folder and bring it with you to orientation.

MS and AuD students will also participate in orientation activities related specially to clinic during their first week of school. Clinical faculty will be in touch directly with students to arrange these activities.
