Each year we put together a special slideshow, which includes photos and messages submitted to us by graduating students. This tribute is presented at the close of our Recognition Ceremony. To facilitate this process, we invite all SPHSC Recognition Ceremony participants to submit to us photos of their life while students in our department. Whether you have been here for 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, or a lifetime, we know that family and friends will enjoy sharing some of your special moments. We also invite participants to submit short "thank you" messages to family and friends.
We want everyone who is participating in the event to be represented, so please take the time to submit information by the deadline of May 5, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.. Thank you in advance for offering great mementos to share with everyone!
Because of the large number of students participating each year, we need to limit each student's submission to:
- 2-3 tasteful photos
- A personal message no greater than 120 characters
The photos come from you! Past photos have included baby/now pictures, family trips, fun activities with classmates, candid photos from the clinic or Eagleson hall, etc. If you want to see you and your classmate's faces, then please submit photos to us. The department does not have an inventory of pictures - we use only what we receive from graduating students, so please don't leave your class out of the fun or the tribute! We will select a range of photos and messages for the slide show.
A few other notes:
- If there are group photos you want to share, please elect only one person to submit the photo. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same group photo.
- Please do not format photos and text into collages or do any fancy formatting. Please just submit photos and text and we will handle formatting.
- By submitting photos, you are giving permission for us to load the photos and our video to the department website after the ceremony.
Thank-you messages for family and friends need to be short, so please think of them as "tweets". You are limited to 120 characters. Please submit your message as a word document.
