Catalog Description:
Explores basic structures and functions related to the ear, the auditory nervous system, and hearing. Examines how the human auditory system constructs and interprets sounds and the influence of attention and memory on hearing. Addresses impacts of auditory system damage on hearing and overall functioning. Course overlaps with: SPHSC 354. Prerequisite: SPHSC 261. Offered: Sp.
