Catalog Description:
Provides an overview of the nature, evaluation, and management of acquired language and cognitive-communication disorders in adults. Addresses aphasia, alexia, agraphia, right brain injury, dementia, and traumatic brain injury. Examines the systems that support language (e.g. attention, verbal working memory) and focuses on the underlying neuropathologies and evidence-based approaches to assessment and management of these disorders.
