Undergraduate Students

About 15% of undergraduates come from outside the United States. Prospective students should review the UW Admissions website to to learn more about minimum admission requirements, admission policies, how to apply, and how the UW makes admission decisions.

Graduate Students

We welcome and value international students and hope that you decide to submit an application. If you meet the below criteria, you are eligible to apply for graduate study at the University of Washington (UW):

• Have you earned the equivalent of at least a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree?
• If English is not your native language, have you met the English Language Proficiency Requirement?  (Review details for the MS program and PhD program)
• If the graduate program to which you are applying does not offer any funding, do you have other sources that allow you to meet the financial ability requirement?
