Carla is an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist with more than 15 years of experience working exclusively with children and families. Her background includes early intervention, clinical supervision, program leadership, and private practice. Carla currently serves as a Clinical Educator at the University of Washington Speech and Hearing Clinic, where she supervises graduate student clinicians in the assessment and treatment of pediatric speech and language disorders. Her areas of interest include supporting early communicators, parent coaching, child-led therapy, and trauma-informed care.
