Biography

Leslie Kot joined the Speech and Hearing Sciences faculty as a clinical instructor in 2019. Prior to joining the UW faculty, Leslie worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for area hospitals and agenices, including Harborview Medical Center and Rehab without Walls. She worked with adults with acquired neurological disorders, including cerebral vascular accident (CVA), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and spinal cord injury (SCI). Clinical interests include: evaluation and treatment of aphasia, motor speech disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits. She now provides clinical education for students completing adult neuro treatment practica.
