All admitted, matriculated graduate students at the University of Washington are eligible for financial aid services. We encourage students to investigate sources of financial aid and submit financial aid applications as early as possible. There are many avenues available to students for funding a graduate education. As you begin to make decisions about how to fund your studies, please review the pages of the site (see menu items to the left).
NOTE: All of our graduate programs require full-time enrollment unless you recieve approval to register part-time, so you should be eligible for financial Aid. PhD students who may only need to register for 2 credits in the summer should pay close attention to financial aid requirements as some mandate a minimum enrollment of 5 credits for disbursement. Additionally, the the minimum credit requirement to hold an ASE appointment (RA/TA/GA) is 10 credits. Under certain circumstances, this requirement may be petitioned.
